Starlight’s audio department’s continued aim is to reproduce a natural sound – in whatever type of environment. Starlight’s theatrical approach to sound reinforcement has resulted in systems that seamlessly blend into the speech, act or vocals they are amplifying. Starlight’s investment in the World’s leading equipment has enabled us to provide the best possible sound relay.  Each event requires individual and exact specifications of equipment to meet the acoustics of the venue and the requirements of the event.  Starlight sound meets and exceeds those requirements.

Working closely with our production and design departments the sound designers take the aesthetics of the event, the requirements of the act and the physics of the equipment to create systems that blend into their surroundings and deliver the ultimate audiophile experience; ensuring every guest receives an even and distributed sound.

Voice-overs, video sound effects, creating the perfect audio soundtrack for a firework display or adding background effects and music for an event. Our in-house sourcing and editing equipment and engineers create whatever is needed. Flawlessly.

The quality, audibility and intelligibility of any sound system are the fundamental parameters for every one of Starlight’s sound systems. A sound system can make or break any event.  Starlight pay particular attention to the focusing of every system, ensuring every guest’s attention is where is should be.  The design of each event required a multitude of different dispersion angles to achieve the perfect coverage; Starlight owns speakers for every application.

Delivering an authoritative speech to delegates, an informal talk to friends, the relay of an orchestra or amplifying the perfect party band; every system needs to deliver a sound suited to the event.  Starlight’s engineers understand these specific and often crucial needs and implement them exactly.

Starlight is very aware that technology should blend in to its surroundings.  We are, for example, the only company in the UK that hired white D&B speakers. For use in white marquees and a large amount of London and UK venues, camouflaging the equipment does not compromise the design of the system.

With the use of digital equipment we now have the ability to control digitally how it sounds and where the sound comes from instantly. We can monitor every level and can preempt potential problems before they arise.  Exact delays, levels and equalization can be recalled to combat venue specific acoustics.
